How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

This cache (our first) is hidden in honor of the Not Your Ordinary Event held on April 4, 2004. We were the “Lucky” winners of this Camouflaged 50 Cal. Ammo Can and its contents, which were contributed by event attendees—plus, we added more goodies. We decided to hide this in an area of Queen Valley close to our winter home. There is room to park prior to going through the gate, or you can drive further in on the ATV road.

Be advised, this cache is located on State Trust Land and permits are required. As always when entering State Trust Land, make sure you close all gates you go through. At no time do you need to travel on private property.

Along with a Log Book, Pencil & Pens, there are lots of goodies. Some of which are an Un-activated Travel Bug for the FTF to activate; A Gila Valley Geocaching 2004 Patch; A Geocaching Button Signed by us; A Common Roadside Invasive Field Guide; Souvenir Shot Glasses; Souvenir Key Rings, and many more miscellaneous items.
