Cache is an ammo container hidden off the boardwalk section of the South Prong Trail.
This is an easy pleasant walk on the boardwalk/gravel section of South Prong Trail which passes through high elevation bogs and spruce forest. On your hike you can see interesting native plants, wildlife, and some nice view points. This is a popular trail for families with small children, as well as backpackers heading out to more remote regions. We set the cache up especially for kid's. Our grandkid's were the "first finders", with a bit of help.The cache contains a log book, pencils & pencil sharpener plus a variety of kid things - matchbox cars/trucks, kid jewelry, a McDonald's barbie - other stuff that I can't remember.The cache is located between the third and fourth boardwalk. The fourth boardwalk is actually a bridge across a small stream.
