This event is open to all cachers everywhere! Oak Park is located just North of I-85 at exit 2 in Montgomery, AL. Enter just past the Planitarium and drive all the way around the park. We'll be in the last picnic shelter.
Just to make it easier to spot us, we'd like everyone to wear a Hawaiian shirt... grass skirts and coconut bras are optional.
We'll have hot dogs and drinks and are asking for attendees to bring a side dish or desert. We'll have games for kids (of all ages)--there are horse shoe pits near by, some door prizes, and a ready-made cache--we're asking attendees to bring one item they'd like to find in a cache to put into the container. We'll give the ready-made cache as the final door prize.
We'll also have a Travel Bug and Traveler Tag swap table set up AND there is an outstanding multi-cache in this park as well...
Please post a note if you can attend and let us know the number of folks coming and what side dish you're bringing. That way we can use the posts to deconflict. I'm a big fan of potato salad, but would not like to see hot dogs, drinks, and 23 varieties of potato salad :-).
