It's All Logical Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

julesd: Went out to perform maintenance on this cache. Found nothing but a couple of ziploc bags and a cacher's calling card.

Since this location is a bit too public, I'm retiring this cache and may resurrect it later at a new location.

Geocache Description:

The posted coordinates are not those of the cache, but one of several possible starting points for this cache. To find the cache, you must solve the following logic puzzle.

Four geocachers - BugLover, ChilliRoad, Vacationer, and Waco.de - managed to find IWasHear's latest cache "Harder Than Hull".  Each geocacher used a different GPS receiver, and all but one made an item trade.  From the following clues, determine the order in which the cachers found the cache, the GPS receiver each one used, and the items they traded.

  1. The cacher who made no trades (who wasn't Waco.de) found the cache after the cacher with the Garmin GPSMAP 76C but before the cacher who took the CD.
  2. The cacher who left the pin found the cache before Vacationer and took the golf ball left by ChilliRoad.
  3. Vacationer (who doesn't have a Magellan Meridian Platinum) complained that the first finder's log was improperly dated and shouldn't count.
  4. The pliers had already been taken before BugLover found the cache using a Garmin eTrex Legend.
  5. Waco.de didn't leave the carabiner;  he found the cache before the cacher using the Garmin eMap and after the cacher using the Garmin GPSMAP 76C.
  6. Vacationer wasn't the one who didn't make a trade.
  7. The golf ball was taken after the cacher using the Garmin eTrex Legend found the cache.

The following chart may help you record information from the clues as well as facts you deduce by combining information from different clues.  I suggest you use a "×" for "no" and "·" for "yes".
