Geocache Description:

Close to parking, neighborhood of Hidenwood. Best trade items: small and not moisture sensitive (or sealed in plastic bags). PLEASE be certain you replace container upright and on its little secure footing to keep bugs and water out!

In Colonial Days this was part of a huge "Nutmeg Quarter" tract, developed in 1951 by the Hiden family (mayor of Newport News 1920-1924). An historical plaque is on Hiden Blvd in median, just off Warwick.

To find the cache you might take the professional angle for a surgical extraction, or approach from a more "teetery" route, around back. Either way, search from the grassy quiet side, not the asphalt.

It's made to blend in, so is susceptible to invasion or ingestion by small uninvited quests. So please leave the container upright when you replace it and on its "keep my feet dry" little spot.

Beware poison ivy in summer. Baby ducklings may be here in spring, you might like to bring bread. CITO may require one rubber glove.

TRADES: If it will fit in a peanut butter jar, it will fit in this container.
