The Seanachai: Greetings from Geocaching.com,

I am in the process of conducting my monthly maintenance checks for the state and archiving abandoned listings. In order to make sure that this cache is processed properly, I need to know, what is the status of this listing?

Please respond in the form of a note on the cache page. I will be checking back in a couple of weeks, failure to respond may result in archival of this listing.

Thank you for your cooperation,

Geocache Description:

Welcome to Marion County, Tennessee, and Nickajack Lake... stop & rest and refresh yourself!
This is a very popular location with lots of people, so please be v-e-r-y discreet when you are hunting this cache!

Here’s a great place to pull off the roadway and take a rest, have a picnic, wet your whistle, water your lily, stretch your legs, walk the dog, feed the squirrels, go for a little hike, do a little bird watching, find a cache or two, or just sit and watch the big ol’ Tennessee River roll by. Covered pavillions, picnic tables, snack & drink machines, restrooms, water fountains, highway maps and area attraction brochures... what more could a traveler ask for?!

NO TOOLS are needed to open the hiding place for this cache! The removable cover fits snug on purpose. You just need to be clever and good with your hands! PLEASE put the removable cover snugly back in place, and give it an extra tap to make sure.
The original contents of this April 30th reincarnation of the GCGBY5 cache are: Log Book & pen & pencil, epb pen on a mini biner, purple AAA mini flashlight, 2 new AA batteries, mini multi tool pocket knife with US Flag, and a baggie of Mardi Gras beads.

This cache is one of the fraternal triplet caches here on the Island. You might find a couple of the caches within hiking distance, but to log all three will take a drive of a several miles, or a return trip through this part of the Volunteer State! The Island Welcome caches are placed with a nod to Ya All Come Back Now, Ya Hear! (GCCEF2) by Carolina Moon... another nifty place to sit a spell and take the load off on your travels through these parts.

Enjoy your visit... and Happy Caching!
