This cache is located in the Huron-Manistee National Forest. No bushwhacking necessary but the trails may be muddy after a rain.
This is one of our favorite places. Bring a picnic, a fishing pole or even a tent. It is a great place to experience and enjoy nature. There is no daily use fee. You can get here from either the south or the north. Once in the parking area you have about a quarter mile round trip to the cache, from the gate it is about a half mile round trip. The gate may be closed before Memorial Day and after Labor Day but foot travel is welcome. You are looking for a half gallon jar. Hope you enjoy your visit to this beautiful area.
