While on the way home from a friend's cottage on Riley Lake, we decided to place a cache in this forest that we came upon. Several animal tracks have been noted in this forest such as deer and moose. The trail can get hilly and rocky at times, but can be avoided with lots of area to walk around. The cache is in a plastic container with a blue lid underneath some leaves and a few branch twigs. The cache includes a pad of paper for the log book, and will have to be used well and conserved. At the time it was placed, the cache included: georgian college (barrie) locker tag, agnew shoe aid, mini flashlight, bicycle playing cards, golf tee, horseshoe resort golf ball, IGA matches.
