Heart Of Darkness Traditional Cache

South of Merritt BC, this cache is on open rangeland at 3386 feet elevation.
As my 'handle' implies, I participate in car rallying on the Pacific side of North America. Since I regularly visit a variety of different locations in BC, WA, and OR throughout the rally year as participant, worker, or organizer of these rallies, I thought it would be fun to dedicate one cache to each rally. This is the first.The Heart Of Darkness rally is an all night event in the vicinity of Merritt BC. The cache was placed right next to a control worker location I crewed in early May. The open rangeland abounds in wildlife, and I saw deer, and a moose as I was placing the cache at sunrise. You may want to watch out for fresh 'cow plops' in your search.The cache contains NO trade goods, but only a pencil, log book, and cache note in case someone other than a cacher finds it. It is about 2 inches by 3 inches (just large enough to take a smallish TB if someone wants to leave one) but not even long enough for a pen. It is painted matt black.
