Geocache Description:

Four years of Geocaching.
Four years. Wow! We have come a long way in four years.

My 4th Anniversary Cache is quite a change from the first few. I decided to go on a different tangent this year. One thing I have found through geocaching is many friends across this great state, even more across this great country and yes, even friends spanning the entire globe. It has been fun to cache with other cachers and make new friends along the way.

One big friend I have made since I started caching was my pet J.C. the puppymonster. We got him from the Cherokee County Animal Shelter. He has been a treat and I like it when we can go caching together. He is with me lots of times when I hide a cache. One thing I have wanted to do is hide a cache near one of the animal shelters in the area. I finally did that for my 4th Anniversary Geocache.

This cache is hidden in a small park near the Cobb County Animal Shelter. The coordinates above will take you to the ammo box small lock and lock container. It is well hidden to keep it safe. Remove the sticks from the TOP of the cache and replace everything as you see it. It should be an easy find. I went back and forth several times. If you are in ANY poison ivy you are in the wrong place.

If you are adventurous (like most geocachers) and would like to meet a new friend, please go to N33° 54.222 W84° 35.138 and look at the pets at the Cobb Animal Shelter. You never know, you might just meet a new best friend this way. There are so many pets that need a good home there. Thanks to all of the crew at Geocaching/Groundspeak for keeping geocaching alive and growing. This is a tremendously fun thing to do and I have seen so much that I would never have seen without it.
