Geocache Description:

A boat is required to access this cache (that is the reason for the difficulty rating). Once you make your way to the docking point, their is a short, uphill hike.

This cache is located in beautiful Versailles state park. There is an nominal entry fee of $4 if you don't own a state park season pass (everyone should get one ;-). Versailles lake is only open to electric (and human) powered boats. Rowboats, canoes and paddle boats can be rented at the gatehouse or lakeside for $5/hr. It will take you around 30 minutes or so to row across the lake and another 30 minutes back (not accounting for searching time). The water is extremely shallow in spots so be careful. The best place to dock is N 39d 04.799, W 85d 14.903. If you dock there, you won't have too many stickerbushes to contend with. You will have to tie your boat to a tree so bring some rope, or tie your life jackets together and use those to tie off.
