This cache is located just west of Cypress Lake at a picnic park in DeLand. The park is located between a house and a DOT parking lot. There are no posted signs about hours, but Cypress Park, which is located to the east of the lake and has a Path of the Skulls cache in it, is only officially open from sunrise to sunset (This picnicking area does not seem to be a part of that park, but I'd think law enforcement officers would question you if you were here after dark).
The hide for this cache is very different than any I have seen before. I am not sure if it will stand the test of time against rough cachers. Please be careful when retrieving and returning this cache ... assuming you find it - heh. It is a Gatorade powder container that is tethered below the remains of the old cache.
