Geocache Description:

Ok this is my first cache and I hope it provides a challange but will also be a good time for those that try it. It does get steep at points, also make sure you take some sun screen and water, its pretty sunny up there and pack a lunch, there are some ridges in the area that provide some great views.

The Starting area is on the other side of Berthud getting towards Winter Park. Head up any of the Trails from the parking area by the signs, and head all the way up towards the treeline to coordinates: N39 49.494 W1o5 46.934 Right now there is still snow and its deep enough that you will need snow shoes, at least for a few more weeks. There is a piece of paper in there with coordinates to Stage 2. PLEASE DONT TAKE THE PIECE OF PAPER!!! Bring a notepad and a pin to write down coordinates. This Cache is in three stages, the first 2 are Mini-caches( stage 1: is a film canister with a red top and silver writing on it, Stage 2: is also a Film canister with a Green top and silver writting) The Final Cache is a regular Ammo Container. Among its contents are 4 yes count 'em 4 Travel Bugs, along with a mini camera(please take a picture,We want to see who you are) a couple of toy pens, some Burning Man/Giggsville Trading Cards, a Bone Caribeener, some silly putty and other goodies. As a Final Note: Please observe the Leave no Trace Policy, I ended up picking up so much MOOP (thats: Matter Out Of Place)That my pack was full of trash and some things that werent, all from back country hikers, skiers, and snowboarders.
