Fungus Among Us Traditional Cache
DinoDuo: The Fungus has gone bad. The cache site and container have been ravaged by Mother Nature. Time to put this one to bed. We removed the container and contents. Thanks for the heads up Capt.Bud.

This cache is located near what some locals call the "Flats". This is a favorite snowmobile area for us, especially in late winter or early spring when the snow has crusted. We have snowshoed here also. We have seen lots of deer and bald eagles here. There are several hunting blinds in this area, so be sure to wear orange or stay away during firearm deer season. You can drive right to this one. Take the Swamp Rd. behind the Marathon station off M72. Don't let the name scare you, although it might be a little muddy after a hard rain. There are ORV trails in this area, so be on the lookout for them. This is also near The Flats cache.The cache is a Victory Mike gift from the MiGo Winter Social about the size of a bandaid box. Small trading items only. It shouldn't be necessary to remove the container to open it. If you do, PLEASE replace it exactly as you found it. Enjoy the search
