Geocache Description:


 

A PLACE THE CAMPBELLS TREASURED

and a nice vista of river and sage.


  From your car parked at N 50-39.209 / W 120-05.253
follow the road to the trailhead at N 50 39.198 / W 120 05.358

Short easy walk with a small steep bit.
- Suitable for kids -

This area of Kamloops is called CAMPBELL CREEK,
  after the rancher who developed the land
 and ranched here over 140 years ago.

It is hard to see how anyone could survive in this desert
 but the small creek was all they needed.

At Stage One of this easy two part multi you will overlook
  Campbell Creek Village, the Thompson River valley to the North,
 and the small Campbell Creek waterway to the South.
 
This WAS a regular cache until muggled and destroyed.
The local muggle children are likely to damage any
new container and log hidden near Stage One.
  As this is still a unique place to see we changed it to an easy Multi.

Stage Two is a small CAMOUFLAGED cylinder with log book,
pencil and very small trade items.
A tall old sage holds it in his arm
1.2 metres above ground.

For the co-ords for Stage Two, which is close ;
Take the year of Mary's birth, less 1800, and add it to N 50 39.139
Take Lewis's age at death and add it to W 120 05.341
