Aussichtspunkt und romantische Schlucht, view point and romantic canyon
Für die Gameboy-Generation ist der Cache möglicherweise schwieriger als angegeben!
Parken kannst Du bei N50° 58,926’ E014°05,533’.
Zwischen dem Startpunkt und der gegenüberliegenden Burg soll sich einst eine lederne Brücke befunden haben. Wahrscheinlich wollte selten jemand hinüber, so dass sich die Brückenwächter die Zeit mit Spielen vertrieben. (Oder haben hier die Raubritter Berken von Duba gezockt, denen dieser Vorposten bis Mitte des 15. Jahrhunderts gehörte?) Auf jeden Fall ist immer noch ein Spiel zu sehen. Es sind maximal AB Figuren gleichzeitig in Gebrauch. Für den Fortschritt des Spiels ist die Zahl C entscheidend. Unmittelbar neben dem Spiel ist die Jahreszahl DEFG zu erkennen. Statt der ledernen Brücke führt heute ein Lehrpfad auf die andere Seite des Tales. Unter anderem musst Du HIJ stählerne Stufen und Absätze hinab. Auf der anderen Seite führt der Lehrpfad durch eine romantische Schlucht, die um das Jahr KLMN als Lagerstätte für Tierkadaver genutzt wurde.
Der Cache befindet sich ebenerdig in Mauerresten bei N50°5B,NIJ’ E014°0F,LCC’.
Wenn Du nicht auf dem gleichen Weg zurückkehren möchtest, kannst Du den Lehrpfad weitergehen (insgesamt ca. 4km) oder über Gautschgrotte und Waltersdorfer Mühle zurückkehren (insgesamt ca. 9km). Da kannst Du aber auch gleich bis zu einer der schönsten Aussichten der Sächsischen Schweiz, der Brandaussicht weitergehen (insgesamt ca. 12 km und Gaststätte).Auf der Burg findet übrigens alljährlich ein Puppenspielfest statt.

Between start point and the opposing castle once a leathery bridge should have existed. Maybe there was no big traffic, so that the bridge guard had spent their time in playing games. (Or had the robber-knights Berken of Duba gambled here, who owned this outpost till the middle of the 15th century?) Anyway there is still a game to be seen. At the same time maximal AB figures are in use. For the progress of the game the number C is important. Straight beside the game you can see the date DEFG. Instead of the leathery bridge today a natural trail leads to the other side of the valley. Among other things you have to walk down HIJ steel steps. On the other side the natural trail leads through a romantic canyon, which had been used about KLMN as repository for cadavers. The cache is situated in a wall relic at N50°5B,NIJ’ E014°0F,LCC’ at ground level.
If you dont want to return on the same way, you can go on the natural trail (total approx. 4 km) or you can return via Gautschgrotte and Waltersdorfer Mühle (total approx 9 km). But in this case you also can go on to one of the best view points of Saxon Switzerland, to Brandaussicht (total approx. 12 km and inn).
By the way every year a puppet show festival takes place at the castle.
