Ellenberger Overlook Traditional Cache
oldllychem: Construction is underway in the Southeast area of Ellenberger Park. This is part of the long-term Indy Dig project to prevent wastewater from contaminating our waterways. GZ for this cache has been obliterated in the process. This cache was my first hide, but it has become necessary to archive it.

Microcache in a city park.
This micro is located in Ellenberger Park, which is one of the first we visited upon relocating here many years ago. Our kids enjoyed this facility, and our sons began their Little League years here. The cache enjoys a view of the tennis courts and sports field. You are searching for a cylinder whose dimensions are approximately 2.25 inches by 0.75 inches. It contains only a log and a first finder's prize. Bring your own writing utensil. Due to it's location, this cache may not be suitable for small children. While it is located within the park, it is near a boundary. There is no need to enter or cross any streets once within the park.While you are here, enjoy the walkways and the newly planted trees. This park is recovering from severe wind damage not long ago.
