Geocache Description:

On a quiet hilltop in Cedar Falls Park in Chapel Hill. Entrance and parking off Weaver Dairy Road, at:
35 57.588 N
79 01.938 W

Everybody has at least one CD they are embarassed to own, at least one CD they hide from their friends. Maybe you got it as a gift or a prize (that's my story, and I'm sticking to it), or maybe your tastes have just changed. However you came to own that aural assault, it's time to dig it out and dust it off. This cache is a place to lay it to rest, and maybe give everyone a chuckle.

Please, only CD's you can buy in a music store. No kiddie music (like "Barney's Greatest Singalong Songs"). Not the CD that came with your car. Not a CD you burned. (Although why, dear God, would you rip bad music?) Only leave general release CD's that someone, at some time, thought was good, popular music. All other CD's will be removed and sent to the landfill.

If you want to leave a note about how you came to own the CD you left, or maybe just pile on a few insults, that would be great. If you'd rather not mention what you left by name, we all understand.

This is not meant to be a trading cache. If this cache is successful, it should grow, filled with music nobody wants. On the other hand, if you see a CD you actually want to own, knock yourself out. To each his own. Just leave one that you think is really garbage.

The container is a large ammo box, hidden close to a trail. It ought to hold 25 or so CD's in standard cases. If I'm correct that geocachers have discerning musical tastes, and the box fills up, I'll move some into a second ammo box and leave the coordinates to it in the first.
