About
Trolls
A photo of a Troll, you'll never see.
They may be real, or just fantasy. |
|
|
But there have been sightings, they've been seen.
But to meet alone in the woods, well for that I'm not keen. |
Tall and strong, short and squat,
Some with long fir, and others not. |
|
|
They're known to be mean, but sometimes they joke.
I'm telling you, they've scared plenty of folk. |
One eye or two, maybe they have three?
Do they live in caves, or in the roots of trees? |
|
|
They hide up above, so up you must look.
But also under things, in a crack or a nook. |
It is said they are hermits, they live alone,
No friends, no TV, no one to call their own. |
|
|
They like to steal, well, maybe borrow I'd say.
And then they stash it, so later they can play. |
Maybe you can befriend one, leave it a gift or a toy.
Trolls can make a good friend, for a girl or a boy. |
|
|
The Troll around here, likes to wander the trails behind the
houses, snatching toys from peoples yards and stuff from peoples
patios and garages, maybe you'll find some of it! Trail head is at
N49 11.927 W122 46.467, this Troll likes to hide in the forest and
watch us humans play tennis.
Walk down the path if you dare! Did you see the troll swimming
hole (on a side trail)? No wonder they sometimes have green skin!
On the main trail, you should soon come on the Troll bridge.

Yes there are other ways in... Not much difference in time (only
minutes), and certainly not as nice a walk.
