Geocache Description:

This cache is hidden down by the popular Hopewell Rocks.

** PLEASE REMAIN ON DEMOSELLE BEACH TRAIL UNTIL YOU REACH THE SHORELINE AS THE AREA IS ECOLOGICALLY SENSITIVE **

Every Scout Troop has the option of having a Troop Specialty badge. As a group they must decide on all the criteria for earning the badge. We chose Geocaching as ours. The scouts have to explain the rules of geocaching, explaine how a travel bug works, explain basic GPS usage, find 5 caches and help hide one cache to earn the badge. Tonight they hid this one as part of those requirements. They each donated one of the following start-up items:
- 2 Glow sticks
- Battle tops
- 2 Bear pins
- John Lennon style clip ons
- CITO container
- Santa bead buddy kit
- Numerous Scout crests
- A zipper pouch
- Some Moncton Pins
- 1 Hillsborough pin

We would recomend entering through the Rocks Provincial Park. Stop and enjoy all that the park has to show.

Thanks for helping us earn our Troop Specialty Badge!
Good luck and have fun.
