Victory Park Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Ted & Rosa: Cache container keeps getting taken or destroyed so I am pulling the plug on this one. It has been almost two years so its probably time for something new in the area anyway.

Geocache Description:

A micro cache placed in a wonderful large park in central Stockton

This is too nice a park not to have an active cache in it. There is a playground, duck pond, baseball diamond, picnic tables, benches, and a terrific museum. If you’ve never been there (or even if you have!) take a look. You won’t be disappointed. Great displays of Holt tractors, Stephens boats, old fire equipment, and shops from the early days of the valley. There is also a good display of Indian life and an art museum. On summer evenings once per week there are free concerts where people bring their lawn chairs and blankets and enjoy a picnic dinner while listening to music. Almost like a small town in the midwest. This is now a micro cache and you shouldn’t have any trouble finding it. Please try to be discreet as there are always people around. Have fun.
