Wilson's Place? Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

astrojr1&GGGal: This one had a great long run but its time has come. Thanks to everyone who found it! Somebody please hide a non-tiny cache here again!

The cache was located on an old slab with a horseshoe embedded in it and a name: "Wilson".

I hope we brought a little bit of lost history to the world.
Thanks again

Geocache Description:

Welcome to Twin Ponds neighborhood park in Plano, Texas. This cache is the first one to be placed in this new area. Enjoy this very well-maintained linear park along a small creek. The creek has a series of small stone dams which appeared to have replaced beaver dams, judging from the fairly recent beaver activity in the area.

The cache is near the slab foundation of an old building. Part of the slab is exposed, revealing some interesting local history.

The cache is a well-stocked camo'd plastic jug about 9x9. You might want to retrieve the cache from the West to avoid muggling eyes. Please be careful to hide the cache back so it cannot be easily seen farther than a few feet away. There may be a tiny bit of PI and thorns within a few feet of the cache but you should not have to go out of your way to avoid it. You will have no mud problems, even if it's raining!
