The above coordinates will take you to a lovely observation dock located within South Central Park in Ormond Beach. This cache is a walkabout of this area. Park is open for daylight hours only. No bikes on paths. No swimming/diving. There is a small boat ramp for jon boats and canoes, but I've never seen one on the lake. The pathway winds around the lake with boardwalks and picnic tables scattered about with a fitness trail also. There are lovely old oaks, droopy palms, patches of pine trees and large areas of ferns covering the ground around final cache. The first two stages are micros smaller than a film canister with add'l coords. inside. The cache is a cammoed taped 1 gal. bucket that is completely hidden. This park was the first section developed and the central section is being developed presently. Please feel free to find Central Park North cache by surfincb & trixie nearby. Enjoy your walkabout!
5/25/04 Update: Checked on all stages of cache and all is in good shape. The cache hiding place is still good with some signs of wear n tear. Before heading into the woods, p/u a spider web killer stick. Happy hunting.
