Geocache Description:


Take the time to Visit Mount Airy, NC. This cache is located in a tiny Mount Airy Park that is very well maintained and includes many different species of plants, flowers, and shrubs that are labeled for you to enjoy. The park also includes several benches and a gazebo for you to sit and enjoy the quietness of Mount Airy. You may wish to walk around the grassy area and look at the many different plants located here, but it’s not necessary. The cache is a log only micro, but it is big enough for tiny trade items if you wish to trade something. It contains a logbook and pencil. You may want to bring a pen or pencil along to sign the logbook. Be discrete when retrieving and replacing the cache as to not compromise it’s location. Please also replace the cache just as you found it and don’t disturb any of the plants in the park as you are searching. Thanks!!

The house by the parking lot used to be the Mount Airy Visitor Center, but now contains a museum with a few exhibits relating to Donna Fargo and the local famous Siamese Twins.
