Another typical Lunch Club Cache that puts you at an old mine site in the Ironwood Forest. Once again the cache is located less then 30 yards walking distance from the trail we drove up on. Depending on your route you will most likely be riding part of the way on what was once a railroad line that traverses the mountain serving the many scattered mine sites. Highly decomposed rail road ties can be seen along the built up foundation of the railroad. Once at the mine you will understand the name of the cache. We only ask that no one reveals any hints to the location when they find the cache. We added another cache in the Ironwoods – Waterman’s III.
