Geocache Description:

Now a vintage cache placed in 2004

Running N

A Traditional Cache near Saint Jo

Some cache locations are all about the hide… and some are all about the place itself. This one is both. 🤠

Whether you were geocaching or just cruisin’ these North Texas backroads, chances are you’d slow down here for a second look anyway. The Running N has been turning heads and making folks smile for years.

Original credit goes to BigMack159, who recognized this spot needed a cache—and he was absolutely right.

Located southwest of Saint Jo near the intersection of FM 677 and FM 3206, this is one of those classic roadside places where you’ll know exactly when you’ve arrived.

Sometimes the best caches aren’t hidden deep in the woods—they’re found where local history, Texas character, and a little curiosity all meet.

About the Cache

You are looking for a small camouflaged container.

Please bring your own pen or pencil.

Be sure to secure the lid tightly and return the cache exactly as found so the next traveler can enjoy the hunt.

Use caution near the roadway and be mindful of traffic.

Why Stop Here?

Because places like this deserve to be remembered.

Take a moment, enjoy the scene, snap a picture, and appreciate a little slice of roadside Texas.

Closing Thoughts

Caches from 2004 are part of geocaching history, and I’m proud to help keep this one alive for future finders.

If you’ve been caching awhile, you know old hides like this are special.

Thanks, CachingRednecks 🤠
