TowPath Park is along Rt. 724 in East Coventry Township. Here part of the Schuylkill Canal has been reclaimed.
The park is a nice area with lots of picnic tables, playground, BBQ facilities and portapotties. A boat ramp and fishing pier are also available. Lots of nature watching opportunities. Enjoy a nice walk down the tow path on a flat, well packed trail. Easy for all, suitable for bikes. However you will find all those biting, stinging and clinging insects as well as plants that cause itching. For all you Hall and Oates fans, the Abandoned Luncheonette that is on their album cover (1973) was along 724 near the park entrance. Daryl Hall is a Pottstown native. Park is open from 8am until sunset. Cache is an ammo box. Notice the exquisite paint job. The last 15 feet or so will be a little more difficult. Please make sure the cache is hidden well.
