Geocache Description:

The above coordinates are in the right general area, but to get the real ones and find our magical-themed cache you’ll have to solve a Harry Potter crossword puzzle. Our thanks go to jrav, whose Greater Victoria Geocachers Crossword provided us with ideas on how to set this up.

You’re probably thinking, “What the heck does Harry Potter have to do with geocaching?”.  Well, there is a link:  it was J.K. Rowling’s books that gave us the term we most often use for those who aren’t part of the “magical” world of geocaching. If you don’t know the books or movies there are many websites with Harry Potter trivia and glossaries. Or ask a young person---pretty much any school-aged child of your acquaintance should be able to help you.

Step One.  Solve the puzzle.  The clues are given in the correct order.  Ignore the numbers in superscript within some of the puzzle blocks for now, because they bear no relation to the crossword clues.  Normal crossword conventions apply: for example, don’t leave a space between the two words of a two-word answer.
