Yeah, yeah, this is a copy cat cache but I thought it was cute. I got this idea last fall from a cache in Spokane called The Geo-Family Tree. It was taken from one called Spawners, and that one from one called Breeders. So the legacy continues.
The idea is to pick up The YELLOW EGG, if available, and “hatch” a new cache with it. Your cache, and any offspring it produces, will also be part of the Incubator series. If you do not choose to "hatch" a new cache then please do not take the egg. Whenever the egg is taken from one of the new caches that have been hatched it will still need to "hatch" a new cache following the same rules.
The egg used for hatching purpose is a Yellow Egg. If you find any other eggs around the nesting area please do not take them.
If you take the yellow egg from the Incubator please follow the rules:
- Use the egg to "hatch" out a new cache within a 50 mile perimeter of the Incubator
- It needs to be hatched within one month of leaving the Incubator
- The cache hatched needs to be a large enough cache to hold other caching trinkets and a log book and pencil along with the egg.
- Please email me when you “hatch” your new cache so I can add it to my site.
You may want to take your binoculars with you. This is one of my bird watching spots. I have seen a variety of ducks here along with Herons, Kingfishers, and the Bullock's Oriole.
