Trail starts in the vicinity of the outhouse at N42 46.180 W97 00.417 and goes to the river. It will be worth the time to find the trail. ammo box - log book - lots of stuff.
Walk to the end of the trail and you can see part of the Missouri River that is close to it’s original state. Barge traffic below Sioux City and dams changed the river north of Yankton. There is quite a bit of brush, so if you don’t find the path you better have long sleeves and long pants. The cache is only 70 feet or so off the trail and the brush isn’t too thick at the spot.
