Mom's Hometown Cache Traditional Cache

This cache is temporarily unavailable.

Cool Librarian: With two DNFs in a row and no finds in almost a year, I am going to disable this one. I will determine if it's gone and if I want to keep it going. I am traveling at the moment, I will be back home at the end of May. Peace.

Geocache Description:

An easy cache located in Lawrence Park, behind the James White Memorial Library in East Freetown, MA. May be tough with snow on the ground.

This was a very impromptu cache placement. While on a mini cache run, Mom and I stopped by this charming small-town library to visit a friend. This was the library that Mom went to as a child, as she grew up across the street. I loved the little library, and was even more thrilled to find a tiny park behind it. Lawrence Park is bordered on two sides by a small pond, and features a number of glacial rocks. Nearby is a bridge with a small waterfall, and the site is yet another in this area reputed to be a campsite of King Philip's. I just happened to have a container and goodies in the car (of course), so I put the cache together, dropped in a TB, and made the hide. Nice place for kids, and a fairly easy hide. A cute library, a pond, glacial rocks - what more could you ask for?

Please park at the church across the street, and if the library is open, stop in for a visit (you can even log your find!).
