Geocache Description:

This is the forth in my cache series dedicated to fellow geocachers I have met while geocaching. To find the cache location you must first locate two green bean microcaches. Each bean will provide you with half of the cache’s coordinates.

This cache series is based on the names of other geocachers I have met while geocaching. I met Jean Bean on Sept. 2nd, 2002 at Seth!'s Post Roundup cache. (You can see that I am falling behind on creating these caches.) She was not actually geocaching, but I was, so she still gets a cache in her honor. As always gave Jean Bean a one week head start before I posted this cache so she was able to log it as the first finder.

The posted coordinates are for the original parking area near a trail head into the Spring Lake – Lake Desire trail system. The trail that begins about 50 feet down the road is now the long way to the cache. The shorter way is to take the new trailhead just past the bend in the road to the east.

The beans you are looking for are located at:
N47 26.059, W122 05.945 and N47 25.919, W122 05.792

Each bean is about 10 inches long and is sealed inside a plastic bag. The beans are both within 10 feet of a trail so there is no need for any bushwacking. Just to make things a little easier I will tell you that if you are coming from the posted parking area both beans, and the cache will be on the right side of the main trail.

The cache container is a 1 gallon Rubbermaid Roughneck box in a black plastic bag. It is located about 25 feet off of the main trail. You may need to step over and crouch under a few branches to reach it but once again no real bushwacking is required.

Warning, my hints are quite specific because I had a difficult time with GPS reception, so if you want a challenge, don’t translate them right away.
