We Started in the Park Traditional Cache
koikeeper: Hate to see this one go but I went to do new owner maintenance and found No Trespassing signs on the way back to it! Removed the ammo box.

The trek to the cache starts at the Wampler Complex off South Hanover Street. While you are there, take in a game, wet a line, have a picnic or launch a boat. However, don't feed the geese.
Parking is available at the complex, near the river.
Begin between the outfield fence and river following a slight path. Path continues into the woods with the river usually in sight. You know you are right when you can turn left from a slight trail on to ATV trail. Cache is about 50 feet off trail. The off trail portion involves bushwacking -- long pants or high socks are recommended! Cache is ammo box with the now famous exquisite paint job along with Geocaching sticker and North Coventry permit.
