Geocache Description:

A walk in the park, can be done on a mountain bike. Very quiet till you get to the edge and can hear the traffic.

Mel of The Cache Rangers placed a great cache which was enjoyed by many for over four years. I was happy to adopt the cache rather than see it archived due to Mel's ill health. Thanks for a great cache Mel.

Settler's Common. If my memory serves me correctly, the Colony of Western Australia established a series of Commons within its borders.

Now it has been set aside as bushland.

'UPDATE AS OF 14 DECEMBER 2004' A gate has now been put up at Settlers Road, and according to the council it was erected 'due to louts hooning up and down the road'. So this is no longer a drive up. People used the road as a dumping ground for rubbish. What a shame, it's a beautiful area.
