Geocache Description:

This a fun and easy virtual cache to do with the family. It is an easy and short walk from the parking area. Due to the location this has to be a virtual cache.

This virtual cache is located in a "park" that is not published on the maps and not widely known. It is unoffically called the "Charles Anglin Park" and is named after the former President of Executive Air Transport (www.ea-transport.com) who recently passed away. He was responsible for turning this unused field into a nice picnic area with trees, grass and picnic tables for people to observe aircraft. The coordinates for the parking area will be at N 43 09.920', W086 14.146'("Executive Air Parking Only" area). You do have permission to park in this parking area and if any questions you just say "Ken" said so. :) DO NOT park in the "No Parking at Any Time" areas or any area that would obstruct traffic. DO NOT AT ANY TIME park in front of the Airport Terminal to reach this location. You WILL NOT cross the secure fenceline to get to this location, so DON'T GO BEYOND THE SECURITY FENCE(it's gated so you shouldn't be able to anyways). Don't forget to pack a lunch. :) * * To prove that you have been there you will either have to post a picture of you with an aircraft(on the other side of the fence) in the background or post a tail number(example: N12345) of an aircraft you saw on the other side of the fence. This should be a good one to take a break at and enjoy the aircraft activity. You will not be able to access this area during July 1 - July 4 due to Muskegon Air Fair activity(www.muskegonairfair.com). This would be a great place to watch the aircraft leaving the Muskegon Air Fair on July 5(you may have to park in short term parking during that time due to lack of parking space at the parking coordinates above).

NOTE: If you are there on July 16, 2005 at about 11am(maybe a little later if they are delayed), you will see a C-5 Galaxy landing in Muskegon and staying the night. The C-5 will depart on Sunday July 17, at about 10am. It will be dropping off equipment for the Muskegon Air Fair on July 23 and 24. This area will be of limits during the Muskeogn Air Fair(July 21, 22, 23 & 24) because it falls in the Safety Zone for the Blue Angels. There may be police officers posted at this location to prevent peoplpe from being in this area.
