Up on a rock. Elevation is 1669ft. Between TIPPA-DE-ENDA and FLYING TURKEY TROT---sorta!!!!---NOT!!!
Park at gate as you would for FLYING TURKEY TROT. N38.43.439,W78.52.153. When the trail splits at N38.43.454, W78.52.672; go left. There is a small trail (pig path) at N38.43.334, W78.52.813---cut a sharp left here. You are now on SNOW FROG ALLEY. Continue on. When you reach a tree that crosses the path -- N38.43.384, W78.52.634; go right towards the rocks.At N38.43.358, W78.52.646 there is a down tree also. Go left--to the other big rock. Up ya go, onto the rocks.You're here!!!! Short and sweet. Less than a mile by trail, and under sixth -tenths if ya bush-wack. Quick and easy. Original contents include: logbook w/pen/pencil, 4X4 dressing sponges w/ sterile wipes, RealTree can cooler, can opener, mini-glo-stick, microcassette, multi-colored push-pins, quick-link, green carabiner, fishing float.
