Geocache Description:

A simple two-step cache. The coordinated listed are for the Worlds Largest Pheasant. The final location is in a near by park.

The coordinates to this cache place you at the World’s Largest Pheasant. Once there, you have to figure out where it mentions the year in which the first pheasant season opened. After you find that number, you have to subtract 1243 to solve for YYY, and subtract 1889 (the same year SD was added to the union) to solve for XXX. You then need to take those numbers and insert them into this set of coordinates N 44° 21.YYY, W 098° 12.XXX. These will lead you to a nearby park where the ammo can (clearly labeled as a geocache on all sides) is located. Please re-hide the cache when you are done. The original contents include:Two key chainsOne signature ringTwo hackey sacksOne fanOne screwdriver setTwo hot handsOne nail clipper One Pitt football pennant (?) from another cacheThe camera is included for you to take a picture and return to the cache. If you are visiting this cache in the summer time, you may want to make a stop over at Ravine Lake (near the first location) and enjoy a round of mini-golf, or take a plunge. And if you prefer to stay dry they also rent paddleboats and canoes. This cache does not really need a hint, but a spoiler is included.
