2024 update: Container now orange with pencil. 2022 update: A forest fire years ago burned most of the forest. An open path now leads to the cache, following the horse fence they put in. The look varies as vegetation grows, or is cleared. Container is small plastic bottle painted brown. Forgot to put in a pencil so bring your own writing instrument. Hagrid's Forest is a dark, forbidding and scary place, overhanging branches, scorched patches of earth, and spiders... everywhere.
Harry Potter's Forbidden Forest was haven to multitudes of spiders... as is this one. A walk through the trail will have you looking over your shoulder for the "big one". Don't look for a scenic stroll on this cache... but do bring a friend as you don't want to walk this trail alone, especially after dark. And if you have arachnophobia, you might want to skip this hide. This would be a good spot for cache in trash out.
