How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

This micro-cache takes you to see the Department of Forest Products Technology at HUT campus.

The container is small and specifically designed for this cache. The location of the cache is somewhat related to the department in question.

There is a small stamp for the letterboxers in the container. If you want to use it, you have to bring your own ink. Initially there were no trade items in the cache, and frankly the container is too small for such items anyway.

Because this is a letterbox hybrid, it can be reached also with the following hints:

  • The side of the building facing Vuorimiehentie is 78 Liimes' steps.
  • The cache is 48 steps directly away from the wall.
  • Follow the wall 34 steps SW from the northmost corner of the building and start your pace from there.

NOTE: When you have found the cache, you should carefully place the container back to its hideout. Leave it just like it was before you found it.

Additional Hints (No hints available.)
