The Old Bridge Cache is located near an abandoned bridge over the San Miguel River.
Another cache along Hwy 141, a highway recently discovered to be the center of the known universe. (OK, I know what you're thinking. But Hwy 550 is only the center of the galaxy. And the world merely revolves around Moab.)The bridge in question has not been in use for nearly twenty years, and is signed as such. To get across to River Road (and access to Paradox Canyon and Paradox Valley) continue east on 141 another mile and cross on the new bridge.The cache is actually a coffee can (for now). The original contents stuffed into it include a reversible screwdriver, a brand new leather wallet, a Nickelodeon toy, a kids' book, an official Little League baseball, Care Bear figures, and about four Matchbox cars.We hope you enjoy this area of the State as much as we do.
