In honor of those who really hate wearing these things, I have created Ugly Tie Cove. The Ugly Tie Cove Cache is located behind the Mississippi River levee in Luling, LA.
Getting There:
•Recommended parking is located near N29º 55.965 W090º 21.363. This is a parking area that will keep you from having to cross River Road on foot.
•The hike to the cache entrance is about 275 feet.
Finding the Cache:
•The cache is located under heavy tree cover, so if your GPSR gives you trouble, you may want to use the hint.
Once You Find It:
•“Shop” through the collection of ugly ties and pick one that appeals to you. Take your picture wearing the tie using the “cache cam” or use your own camera.
•Return the tie to the cache
•If you have an ugly tie to donate, leave one. If not, just sign the log, and hide the cache again. Please do not take any ties from the cache. Leave them for others to enjoy.
The goal of this cache is simply to take your picture wearing an ugly tie.
