Crystal Lake cache Traditional Cache

This cache is located off a really nice trail that goes around Crystal Lake on the former Myrtle Beach Air Force base. The reason we gave the terrain a rating of "2" is because the last few yards to the cache are up a steep incline. Otherwise the trail is rather flat.
The cache is in an ammo box. The trail can be reached from several locations, but the closest is down a street that stops at a chain link fence. Part of the fence is cut out on the right for access to the trail. I think this trail is one of the best kept secrets in Myrtle Beach! Everyone knows about the state park trails, but this one is equally good with a nice view of the lake.
The cache is on the lake side of the fence!
