W I N N E R of the 2015 Emcache EMmy award for Best Vintage Cache. This cache was originally placed by Wild Woods but he is no longer able to maintain the box so we have adopted it with his permission. Now owned by me as lgxkls and Mat Smith have now moved away.
The cache can be reached from many directions, following footpaths in the area. The most direct route is to park in the area of N52 43.346 W 001 19.350 and follow the Ivanhoe Way until you are near the Hill. Blasting times for the nearby quarry are 1:45 and 5:15 pm. A continuous siren sounds during blasting so you will know from a distance if any blasting is taking place. The cache is in a 1 litre plastic snap lock box.
