Geocache Description:

The third of four easy to find caches in the Sitka area. This cache like the other two were placed for visiting tourists with very limited time and transportation.

DIG DEEP, GET YOUR KNEES WET. DON'T WORRY THERE ARE NO SNAKES IN THERE.

*NOTE* IT LOOKS LIKE WE HAVE MUGGLES RAIDING THE TOURIST FRIENDLY CACHES - PLEASE DO NOT PUT ANY TRAVEL BUGS IN THIS CACHE

There are now four caches placed for our visitors. Can you find all four? One of the caches now has the directions to a fifth bonus cache. Inside you will find a nice gift to remember your visit to Sitka, Alaska. All caches are within about a quarter of a mile and are placed for a quick find. The Tour Dock Cache is in a very nice place to watch the many fishing boats come and go. See eagles in the nearby trees and visit the many tourist facilities close at hand. I am sorry but, do to the location, this cache is not quite wheel chair friendly. Maybe with a little help though? Children are always welcome. Of course all the caches are fair game to local geocachers. You may find them a bit to easy though.

The Map, as usual is not even close. This cache is not in the water. You will find this cache only a few hundred feet from the tour dock by the bridge. The tour dock cache is close to the main lightering faciility and not the Cresent harbor lightering facility. Those lightering to the cresent harbor dock tourist facility may want to do the Centennial and SAR base caches first then walk the few short blocks to the Tour Dock cache.
