Geocache Description:

A virtual cache with a fantastic view, and a creative writing requirement for its logs.

San Francisco,
The Presidio,
Inspiration Point
a virtual geocache
I hereby do appoint.

Park rangers look with displeasure
upon leaving buried treasure,
and take a firm stance
against trampling native plants.

So come and feast with your eyes--
The vistas shall be your prize.
Pause - reflect - savor the view.
Breathe deep. Let it inspire you.

To claim this cache as a find
Write a poem of some kind--
free form, limerick, haiku
any type of verse will do--
within your log's notation,
as proof of inspiration.

Prose-only logs will not last;
Delete them I will, and fast.
So don't just enjoy the views;
let them also be your muse!

[To confirm your find, you must also email me the name of the army officer whose inspiration led to the 'greening' of the Presidio.]

Please note: if you log this and don't include a poem in the log, I will delete your log. I may or may not contact you to let you know why I'm deleting your log, if I have time.

Enjoy!
