UPDATED CO-ORDINATES WITH NEW GPS ! Parking at N 52 13.568 E000 43.752 Cache at N52 13.109' E000 43.727' Beautiful Parkland not too hilly mostly grass and woodland paths - about 1 mile from parking place.
The cache was placed today May 30 th the weather is good and the location is looking beautiful although it's a lovely place at any time of year. There is much wildlife to be seen - birds, butterflies , meadow flowers, some magnificent trees and mammals - go early in the morning and you may see deer - we went to investigate a poor expired grey squirrel who ,when we were only a few paces away , woke up , blinked , looked around and leapt from the log he'd been asleep on in the sun. If you go past the cache and follow the path around to the left , there's a place to have your sandwiches - take a bit of bread for the Canadian 'family'- the four children might still be living with mum and dad if you get there soon ! The cache is a tin about 4 inches across - take care as walkers may be coming from three directions.Contents - ' five-kinda-things' - which is funny if you're a futurama addict.
Note halfway to the cache you may see the big felled tree that captain dangerous did a cartwheel along because he was dared - Try this at home if you want - BUT NOT ON THE TREE !!!!!
PS - Just increased the size of the container by about 300% so travel bugs will now fit . The pen has gone missing so don't forget to take one if you're going before I get another chance to go.
ALSO ..... As a bit of extra interest, you may wish to find the picture of 'bender' the robot ( on the old cache tin ) at 52 13.17n 000 43.84e . It's in a hedge a few paces south of a small oak tree ( if you can't find south, someones scratched 'BG' on the north side. The Oak tree is only a hundred yards or so away from the cache but i'll be aMAZEd if you get there within ten minutes - Log your best time and see if it's hard to beat !
