View from the top of the Viewpoint Trail
The Viewpoint Trail is a short but well-maintained path leading up from Indian Creek State Park and Campground to a small knob of rock overlooking the lower body of Priest Lake. The trail begins off of the Old Log Flume Trail in the State Park and crosses the East Shore Road at about the halfway point of its length. It is this crossing that is given as the trailhead location above.
The cache is located just a short distance uphill from the viewpoint at the top end of the trail. It is concealed to prevent accidental discovery, but should be easy to locate for geocachers. The hints below and the spoiler photo should help you zero in.
Happy hunting!
