Rivergrove Tour Multi-Cache

See the sights in the City of Rivergrove, one of the smallest cities in Oregon.
Rivergrove is a small city shoehorned between Tualatin and Lake Oswego on the north shore of the Tualatin River. The nearby River Grove School isn't even within the city limits, nor are three of the four neighborhood parks. We briefly made the news in 1996 when the river flooded several dozen homes, including mine, and destroyed the headgate for the canal that feeds Oswego Lake.
To complete this multi-cache, you will visit four of the high points of our city to gather information. With this you will compute the coordinates of the cache, located on a pleasant walk on level trails in a patch of urban forest. This cache is only available from 6am to 10pm.
Waypoint 1:
Go to N 45 23.276, W 122 44.010.
Let AAA be the population of our fair city.
Let BBB = AAA - 117.
Waypoint 2:
Go to N 45 23.032, W 122 44.085.
Add up the digits in the City of Rivergrove Ord.
Let C be that sum - 9.
Waypoint 3:
Go to north 45 22.980, W 122 43.289.
If you're in a car, don't park in front of the gate with the "don't park here" sign. Park by the side of the road behind you, then walk past that sign. It's public access right up to the river.
Let DDDD be the year that the canal headgate was replaced.
Let E = DDDD - 1993.

Go to N 45 23.228, W 122 43.260.
Let FFFF be the year the pavilion was constructed.
Let GGG = FFFF - 1764.

Good trails will take you from the parking lot to the cache, but it's a bit of a maze; you may have to try a few trails before you close in. No bushwhacking or wading is necessary. Do not enter the grassland, the swamp, the creek, the canal, or the yards of nearby homes. It is not necessary to climb any steep hills. Cache is a large green ammo box.
