RIP-DND=Do Not Disturb those who Rest in Peace
This is the second of a series of virtual sites related to death in Yellowstone. Because the Cavalry was the earliest form of law enforcement to care for a protect the Park, a Military Cemetery was established. Buried there are members of the military as well as wives and children. Some civilian Park employees also rest in peace here. Interestingly, all the grave markers face the east, however, one large granite gravestone has the family name engraved on the "back" side as well which is easily readable from the posted coords OUTSIDE the fence. To claim this cache, email me the name on the grave marker, or send a picture which includes your GPS.
