*gln: ARCHIVING ABANDONED CACHE

Greetings,

Looks like our timing is off and It’s time to say goodbye to this cache.

Since I haven't any maintenance here in a very long time, I am going to assume that your priorities have changed and you’ve gone in a different direction.

Archiving due to lack of maintenance is permanent.
CACHE ARCHIVAL IS PERMANENT.

Let me know if I can be of assistance in the future.

Thanks a MILLION for all you have done, Glenn

Geocache Description:

This is a two-part cache along the beautiful Little Blue River Trace hike-bike trail.

The Little Blue River Trace bike-hike trail is part of the Jackson County Parks and Recreation system. Permission was given to place a cache here. The total round-trip distance for this cache is about 1.5 miles. This well-maintained, flat, hard-packed surface trail is about 11 miles long. The parking lot at the coordinates, N 39 06.180 and W 094 17.789, is a good starting place for the cache. It is also a good place to start bicycling or walking. From here the trail goes about 6 miles south and about 4.5 miles north.

The coordinates given are for the first part of the cache. Here you will find two 3-digit numbers. These will be used to determine the coordinates for the second part. Subtract 41 from the first 3-digit number and call this xxx. Subtract 165 from the second 3-digit number and call this yyy. The coordinates for the second part of the cache are N 39 05.xxx and W 094 18.yyy.

The second part of the cache is in a Tupperware-type container. Initial contents are a couple of key-chains from Thailand, a SBA dollar, a specimen of pyrite, a shell necklace from Hawaii, a giant mercury dime, a compass, an action figure, a regular size deck of cards with Beijing landscapes and a log book.
